J. Paul Bruton has been writing ever since a fourth-grade teacher sparked his love for storytelling. That early passion eventually led him to the U.S. Army, where he earned a coveted guarantee to serve as a journalist. After completing initial training, he spent six years rounding up news and feature stories from the U.S. to Europe, earning top honors in both print and photo journalism.

When his service ended, he chased a creative detour – inventing a board game called RallySport. The game didn’t bring instant fame or fortune, but it rekindled his devotion to creative arts and writing.

Paul returned to journalism and spent six years as a photographer, writer, and editor at the Lodi News-Sentinel in California.

Today, with more than 25 years in the diverse field of public affairs and journalism, he continues to write, photograph, create and tell stories with the same passion that was sparked years ago.
